Many people do not understand how complicated detox can be. Fortunately, Alta Centers provides supervised sub-acute detox services in a residential setting with our Hollywoodland Recovery facility.
“I did move out here with the complete conviction that things would be better, and they have been. To me, the Hollywood sign represents that promise.”
Our stunning location, perched in the Hollywood Hills, right next to the Hollywood sign, represents so much more than its beautiful landscape, it’s the promise of getting better, the hope of a place that understands who you are. The Hollywood sign’s historic symbol of dreams and hope represents the message that all of us at Alta Centers represent.
Boosting serenity, and a peaceful atmosphere, our six-bed private detox facility is supervised by Dr. Litos Mallare, a medical doctor, and an addiction psychiatrist.
In addition, twenty-four-hour nursing and professional counselors are provided to ensure quality and stability in the time of need. We offer both private individual suites and semi-private in-suite rooms that supply stunning views of Mount Lee and the private Hollywood Hills.
We understand that withdrawal can be intimidating and can feel like the flu with symptoms like nausea and fatigue. Our knowledgeable staff knows that overcome withdrawal is one of the hardest parts of treatment. We are here to make sure you feel comfortable and safe providing assistance to reduce cravings and provide the structure of our detox program with medication-assisted treatments and counseling. Once you are medically stable, and your body has rested from the damage of substance dependence, the real work of treatment begins.
Whether you are attending treatment with Alta Centers or are here just for detox services, we create an individualized discharge plan upon leaving our facility to ensure every person gets the quality care they deserve.
