Garett
Garrett Braukman grew up in a home filled with secrets of addiction and abuse. Initially, wanting to work in music, he found himself at a calling to help others in addiction leading him to find sobriety early in life and getting a degree in Substance Abuse Counseling. Garrett’s career has spanned from entry-level to executive management, with previous experience in Orange County, Malibu, and Hollywood. Garrett identifies transformational leadership as the most influential form of leadership a facility can have, which he has developed at Alta Centers. Featured on E! and in Music Connection Magazine, Garrett’s approach to recovery is unique, providing powerful insight into the programming at Alta Centers.

ERIC CHAGHOURI, MD PSYCHIATRIST, MEDICAL DIRECTORR AT ALTA CENTERS

Eric Chaghouri, MD

Dr. Eric Chaghouri is a 2007 graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned his B. A. in Biology with Summa Cum Laude honors. While at UCLA, he helped the men’s varsity volleyball team earn a National Championship in 2006. He was named the UCLA Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2007.

He earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine in 2011. He completed his internship training in 2008 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the remaining three years of residency in general adult psychiatry at the Los Angeles County and University of Southern California Medical Center. He served as the Chief Resident in psychiatric emergency services during his fourth year of residency. He also served as Resident Clinical Instructor and Volunteer Faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at the Keck School of Medicine.

After completing residency, Dr. Chaghouri accepted a fellowship position in forensic psychiatry at the prestigious USC Institute of Psychiatry and Law. His scholarly activities included publishing in Legal Digest and presenting research findings at the Keck School of Medicine annual conference.

Since completing his forensic psychiatry fellowship, he has established a successful and thriving practice in West Hollywood and Century City, California, focusing on treatment of co-occurring psychiatric and addictive disorders. He works in an array of capacities with attorneys, courts, and other parties in actual or potential litigation. He also has extensive experience consulting and providing opinions on psychiatric issues for major television networks. Dr. Chaghouri’s interests include addiction medicine, substance use disorders, forensic psychiatry, medical ethics, psychological autopsy, gender wellness, and evidence-based treatment of psychiatric conditions.

David Campbell, LMFT #135954  is a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Alta Centers, with a unique background as a former professional athlete. David’s journey to becoming a therapist is one marked by personal transformation and a deep commitment to helping others find recovery. After suffering a back injury during competition, David faced the challenge of overcoming an addiction to prescription pain medication. This experience led him to discover his true purpose: helping others navigate the difficult path to recovery. In a bold and life-changing decision, David walked away from a promising J.D./M.B.A program to pursue psychology full time. David holds a master’s degree in psychology and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Southern California. He is pursuing his Doctor of Social Work, dedicating years of research to advancing substance abuse-related treatment service delivery systems and best practices. David’s work focuses on maximizing successful treatment outcomes and minimizing barriers to care access, ensuring that individuals receive the highest level of support possible. At Alta Centers, David brings his extensive experience in addiction treatment and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those in recovery. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, he employs a compassionate and evidence-based approach to help clients and their families heal and rebuild their lives.David’s inspiring story and unwavering dedication to helping others make him a valued and essential member of the Alta Centers team. His expertise and firsthand experience provide clients with the support they need to embark on their own journey to recovery and a fulfilling life.

RYAN ANDERSON DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Ryan Anderson - Director of Business Development

Ryan Anderson, a native of New York, has been a pivotal force in the behavioral healthcare industry for over seven years. His journey to Los Angeles, initially driven by personal challenges, has become a testament to his resilience and commitment to health and wellness. Celebrating a decade of sobriety, Ryan’s experience provides a unique and empathetic perspective to his role.

His professional background is rich and diverse, encompassing roles in sober companioning, crisis management, and life coaching. This experience has equipped him with the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of behavioral healthcare with compassion and understanding. As the Director of Business Development, Ryan is dedicated to fostering lasting relationships both within the professional sphere and with clients and alumni, emphasizing the importance of connection and support in the journey to recovery.

Outside the office, Ryan is an avid pickleball player, a testament to his dedication to health and fitness. He finds joy and balance in spending time with his friends and engaging in various wellness activities. This holistic approach to life not only benefits his personal well-being but also enriches his professional endeavors.

In his personal life, Ryan is happily married and a proud pet parent to Alvey and Momo. His family life complements his professional journey, offering him a well-rounded perspective and a source of strength and inspiration.

Thomas Rosati was born and raised at the New Jersey shore and has been residing in Los Angeles for over 10 years, his passion for helping individuals struggling with substance abuse issues began early in his own recovery journey. He has had the opportunity to witness countless success stories of individuals who have overcome their battles with addiction, and it’s been a profound honor for him to have played a part in their recovery. He has a CADC-I certification and has been working in the substance abuse field for 5+ years. In his free time, he likes to get off the grid and away from civilization. On most weekends, you can find him at a lake or on a trail. His goal is to continue expanding his knowledge and expertise, ultimately contributing to the evolution of more comprehensive and effective approaches in substance abuse treatment. Helping people navigate the often challenging path to recovery is not just his profession, but his life. He is committed to making a positive impact and being a beacon of hope for those striving to overcome addiction.
